I had to run over to Jacksonville this morning to help edit my story on the cancer floor at Wolfson Children's Hospital. On the way back to Gainesville, I stopped at Tom's Cypress in Waldo and shot this feature for The Sun.
I've driven by the store many times and never stopped. When I walked around to the back this afternoon, I was surprised to find many hidden photo gems. Perhaps a future fashion or portrait shoot is in store for there.
A man named Simon was preparing some cypress to be made into clocks. On the first pass, I didn't make a picture. Then I walked by from the other side and noticed two shafts of light falling through the frame.
